Pigeon Forge, TN (11/22/06 ) - Congratulations to Ryan Powell of Greenwood, South Carolina for winning the #2 Jeremiah Jones Suzuki LTR-450 Quad Race. Suzuki / Yoshimura partnered with Harlen Foley (atvriders.com) & Debi Bartosek (88liveride.com) who organized the raffle only a few weeks after Jeremiah’s paralyzing accident. Sligo Press in Baltimore, MD printed and donated the 1,000 tickets for the raffle, which were sold online and at final rounds of the GNCC, ATVA MX, and WPSA events. From the combined efforts of online sales and trackside sales, over 600 tickets were sold in three months, which raised over $30,000 for Jeremiah Jones.

The winning ticket was drawn by Jeremiah Jones himself at the ATVA Motocross Nationals Banquet on November 11th in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and the South Carolina native, Ryan Powell, was announced the winner. Although he was contacted right away, he didn’t receive the messages until Monday morning. He purchased his winning 884 raffle ticket online through www.88livetoride.com.

An obvious fan of the Quad Racer, Powell had purchased a brand new Suzuki LTR-450 Quad Racer from his local Suzuki dealership, Performance Cycles, just a few weeks prior to raffle ticket drawing because he never expected to win. When he received the phone call that he was the lucky winner, he was quoted to have about fell on the floor in amazement, and he immediately arranged his 8 hour trip to JB Racing to claim his race ready Suzuki LTR-450.
