ATV Racin’ Extra and PowerSports ATV Tour To Benefit 88LiveToRide/Mobile Medical Unit

Springville, TN (6/20/2007) – ATV Racin’ Extra always has been, and always will be, about the people of ATV racing. Likewise, the WPSA’s PowerSports ATV Tour understands that the people of ATV racing are its’ most important asset. With this mutual interest as a foundation, the PowerSports Tour and ATV Racin’ Extra partnered to help raise operating funds for 88 Live to Ride, Inc. and its Mobile Medical Unit.

ATV Racin’ Extra donated $5.00 of each subscription it received through September 30, 2007 to the fund. The PowerSports ATV Tour set aside space on vendor’s row at each of its 2007 events for the 88 Live to Ride organization to set up a booth and provided PA announcements during the events to promote the effort.

The 88 Live to Ride foundation was set up by Debi Bartosek in memory of her son, Matt, who was fatally injured while racing an ATV in 2003. The organization plays a vital role in assisting injured riders in times of need and funds the Mobile Medical Unit which is on site at numerous national races and is staffed by Doc Ragon, a well known ATV racing enthusiast and practicing medical doctor.
